PwC to Release Report on "Lifestyle Media" and Host Two Industry Panel Sessions, Focusing on Convergence and International Opportunities, at NATPE
WHAT: PricewaterhouseCoopers will release its report, "The Rise of Lifestyle Media: Achieving Success in the Digital Convergence Era" at NATPE 2006 in Las Vegas. The report underscores the challenges and opportunities that convergence brings to the video content, distribution and advertising industries in the United States. "Lifestyle Media," expected to be a key driver of change, is the name given to a methodology companies can use to help consumers maximize their limited time and attention, creating a rich, personalized and social media environment. The findings incorporate interviews with senior executives from Ogilvy, Publicis, NBC Universal, Rentrak, VNU, TV Guide, Yahoo! and others.
WHY: PricewaterhouseCoopers will bring together top executives in the entertainment industry to offer their perspectives on the rapid proliferation of on-demand content options based on digital technologies in the United States and in the fast growing markets of India and China.
