  1 Relief Reminder
Donate Now - Here's How

Companies, employees and principals can assist the victims of the Katrina disaster by sending relief volunteers or by donating much-needed funds to the following reputable organizations:

American Red Cross
Call 1-800 435 7669 or go to http://www.redcross.org to make an online donation.

Salvation Army
To donate by phone, call 1-800-SAL-ARMY.
To donate by mail, send checks, earmarked 'disaster relief,' to:
PO BOX 4857 JACKSON, MS 39296-4857.
Or to donate online go to www.salvationarmyusa.org

Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Fund
Send your checks payable to the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and mail to:
NAMB, P.O. Box 116543, Atlanta, GA 30368-6543
or go to http://www.sbc.net/ to make an online donation.

Please note:

Due to the uncertainty of specific local needs and the massive logistical challenges at present, most relief agencies are not accepting in-kind donations at this time or have strict limitations and/or requests. Each agency can specify their current policy but it seems pretty clear that live volunteers and funds are what is needed most right now.
