  3 BusinessMedia Introduces "Culture Watch"
In Today's Issue: What's America Reading?

If American Culture does not affect advertising and marketing, nothing does. If America is reading, participating in, buying, or watching something, in large numbers, marketers need to know. We hope this new section helps to keep you abreast of an ever-changing American culture.

So, with little fanfare but lofty expectations, we kick off our new section this week called "Culture Watch."

This week we bring to your attention a book that tackles head-on a hugely provocative issue in America today.

Uncommon Dissent: Intellectuals Who Find Darwinism Unconvincing
Edited by William Dembski

Here's what Publishers Weekly has to say about this title:

"In this provocative volume, biologists, mathematicians and physicists as well as theologians and other intellectuals...argue, as editor Dembski writes, that 'the preponderance of evidence goes against Darwinism.'... Anyone interested in these debates and their implications for education will find this collection to be important reading."

The Intercollegiate Studies Institute writes: "William Dembski, the editor "Uncommon Dissent," is a major figure in the Intelligent Design movement and his powerful book is a must read for anyone wanting to understand exactly the nature of the debate, the arguments from both sides, and why ID is winning."

The BusinessMedia staff looks forward to tackling this book as well.
