4 People Moves: Paul Jerde Named Creative Director at GroupBaronet

GroupBaronet recently named Paul Jerde as the firm’s new creative director. With 12 years experience in the marketing profession and a strong background in creative design, Jerde brings solid industry knowledge and expertise to the group.

“GroupBaronet is thrilled to welcome Jerde as our new creative director,” said Willie Baronet, Principal of GroupBaronet. “His experience, determination and attitude are welcome assets to the team. He has what we call the ‘WOW!’ factor, and he makes sure each and every piece the agency develops achieves the desired goals and objectives required for client success.”

Jerde’s work has received national recognition by Communication Arts, GRAPHIS magazine, Print magazine, American Corporate Identity and a host of other prominent creative organizations. Throughout his career, Jerde has guided the marketing initiatives for a variety of leading national brands, creating memorable messages for companies including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Texas Instruments, The Walt Disney Company and Frito Lay.

“I get a thrill in driving bottom line results for my clients, and I am only satisfied when a distinctly memorable message is carefully created and well executed,” Jerde said.
Although years of schooling and more than a decade in the marketing industry have honed his strategic sensibilities, Paul attributes his success to the time he spent as captain of the crossing guards in sixth grade. “Picture this. You have an eclectic group of people who all need to get across the road without getting run over, and it’s my job to shepherd them safely to their destination,” adds Jerde. “Is there a more apt metaphor for the marketing process?”
